Camp Habitat - Outdoor Nature Education
& Ecology for Youth

Through games and other hands-on,
outdoor activities, we explore the ecosystems of Interior Alaska, the home
of most of our participants. Camp Habitat helps youth discover what
makes where they live special!
- Summer
Camps mostly take place at Creamer's Field Migratory Waterfowl
Refuge.
- After
School Programs offer hands-on environmental learning in a
fun, informal setting at several schools in the Fairbanks North Star
Borough School District.
Camp Habitat is co-sponsored by the Northern Alaska Environmental Center, Friends of Creamer's
Field, and the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.
We are also helped by many enthusiastic volunteers and our Camp Habitat
Advisory Board.
Summer camp activities take place at Creamer's Field Migratory Waterfowl Refuge in Fairbanks.
