Teshekpuk Lake Court Victory
The US District Court for Alaska ruled in favor of the Northern Center and a coalition of conservation groups, issuing a strongly worded decision on September 25, 2006 that could save the internationally significant wildlife habitat around Teshekpuk Lake in the Northeast Planning Area of the National Petroleum Reserve, Alaska (NPRA). “This is a huge victory for Alaskans and wildlife," said Pamela A.
