Become a member of the Northern Center!

Why the Northern Center?

Interior
Alaska is our home. Our group was founded by everyday citizens who cared deeply about Alaska. This grassroots spirit is still strong today.

We have four full-time staff, a volunteer Board of Directors, and the support of approximately 1,452 members and countless dedicated volunteers.

All members receive a subscription to our quarterly newsletter, the Northern Line, to keep our members and other concerned citizens updated on the environmental news of
Arctic and Interior Alaska. As a member, you may choose to receive the Northern Line electronically (via email) instead of a print version. You will be sent a notice when the latest newsletter has been posted to our web page, where you can easily download the PDF file (approximately 1 - 2MB) using Adobe Acrobat. This is is available to members only. Help us save resources! Email the Northern Center if you are interested.

Membership is easy!

You can pledge on-line, and the
Northern Center will send you a letter in the mail to confirm your pledge. You may also mail in your contribution:

Northern Alaska Environmental Center
830 College Road
